HISTORICAL PHOTO PORTRAITS

These historical photo portraits are commissioned by clients, beginning with a painting of their choice. It may be a work of art that the client has always loved, or it could be a portrait of an ancestor, or just one that is suited to the project. In all cases, once the historic painting has been selected, the next step consists of developing decors (including trompe l’oeil) and period costumes as in original painting. There are costume fittings in Paris or at the client’s home, followed by the final photo shoot which can either be in a Paris studio or in another location of the client’s choice. Prints are of the highest quality and can be of whatever size the client choses, including as large as the original portrait.

Each commission is individually conceived and priced according to a number of factors including client location, number of participants, decors and costumes and size and quality of final photo prints.
